The news came before the series two finale, which will air on Wednesday on Hulu and Disney+ in the UK. In it, the football club will have to choose between “either promotion or the dreaded playoff.”
After they bought it, the show has been following actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they learned how to run Wrexham AFC, the third oldest professional football club in the world.

The first season of the sports documentary series Welcome to Wrexham aired in 2022. It follows the Welsh football team Wrexham A.F.C. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who own the club, tell the story of their trip.
